My name is Luan Slater and 3D printing is my hobby. I work full time for a big logistics company and I do 3D printing in my spare time.
I started printing 3 years ago after buying my first printer during the pandemic and gradually bought more. I learnt how to print, maintain my printers and fix them if I needed to. After numerous makes of printers I have found my go to, the Bambu Labs printers. I currently have 3, 2 with AMS units which enable me to print multi colour prints.
At Slaters3dprints, I follow a rigorous process to ensure that every project is completed to the best of my ability. Test prints and a bit of tweaking to get the ideal print possible. Although I don't design my prints I am currently an approved seller for Pipe Cox who designs amazing items which are unusual but seem to be a big hit at my craft fairs. Zou3d who designs amazing minis and the kids love them and a new patreon Snap Print 3D I have recently down-sized the amount of patreons I had due to not having enough sales from their designs. PipeCox seems to be different so I am changing direction in what I am printing. Hopefully I will be adding more patreons in the future until the day comes that I can design my own. I learn more and more about printing each time I print something new.
I mainly use PLA filament from well known brands such as eSun, Overture, Ziro & Elegoo which are my go to in filaments. All my Pla filaments are made from starch raw materials derived from plant resources ie. corn. With all 3d printing there maybe small imperfections, that how 3d printing works. However I wouldn't sell anything that I wouldn't buy myself.
